| Arabian Affairs. Even before the doors to the ballroom are "officially opened", some of our colleagues were already sitted inside! The organiser had to come to the tables to clarify that actually the ballroom is not ready yet bla bla. Damn funny coz this shows how kiasu my company people are! Got a table but not a very nice view of the stage coz the speakers were blocking me.
Our section! I always have many things to talk about with my supervisor on the left. He's the one who accompanied me to Langkawi earlier this May, my personal tour guide since his hometown is at Kedah which is right beside Langkawi!
Nice rose decorations on each table .. The food they served totally cannot make it
My two bosses who doesn't really behave like one. On the right is my japanese boss who recently left us for another country. He's a hell good drinker. I think most japanese can really drink fast and well. We ordered 4 sets of the pizza with two pines of beer each and additional 4 Timbre wings. Totally love their chicken wings and I'm craving for it again!
I'm the only one who drinks but my face will not turn red! Good or bad blood circulation? Many says it's good if your face is red but I remember reading some articles online saying that actually remain your natural skin tone is better ..
Random pics taken with my mobile before Pipi's zoo celebration!
Annual company dinner and dance event held at Raffles Town Club. Out of all the dishes, there's none I can say it's nice. Luckily we were pre-warned beforehand and had prawn noodles first before heading down! Bad bad jam on the way, past few weeks roads was crazily packed with vehicles especially along Orchard. Nearly faint of anxiousness when I was on Orchard road and missed the CTE turn eventually wahaha. Katsura's farewell dinner at Timbre and we sent him off at the airport last Monday. It's like a routine whereby each japanese boss will be transferred to other countries once their three years is up. Lucky him, he will be transferred to somewhere near us which means there will be a high chance of meeting him in our office! Been very busy since I came back and work is piling up even at the last few moments of 2009.

| Cambodia, Phnom Penh. ( Click those links in pink! ) The third day, we went to Wat Phnom. It's the centre of Phnom Penh and you need to pay USD $1 for the entrance fee. Frankly speaking, there's this stinky smell over there which I totally have no idea what's the smell. And there are MANY beggars .. it's sad to see them all around you. Mostly are young people like early 20s or 30s and some kids. I believe some were being forced to be beggars? They sat along the stairways which there's no way you can avoid them coz you'll be walking up and they will be by the side begging you :(
We walked up to the top and there's a little temple. These two photos which I took, there were many monkeys around us! I was so scared coz they looked hungry and I'm afraid they may bite me or something! Some locals were feeding the monkeys though. But I quickly ran away from that area haha
Before that we went to the Royal Palace. Need to pay the entrance fee of USD $25 if I never remember wrongly. Anyway I did not have a chance to enter coz the counter person says no sleeveless is allowed. He asked me to buy their normal plain white tee-shirt which costs USD $20. So yeap, I rather not enter haha also heard from our dealers that there's nothing much inside. Those places which are beautiful are restricted due to privacy. Afterall this is the King's palace!
The palace is huge man .. Those doors they have is so traditionally nice! Carvings all over!
Back in the car travelling around .. Phnom Penh has such beautiful clear blue skies :)
Pagodas are commonly seen in Cambodia. They don't call it temples because to them, temples is a holy place where you pray to the Gods but pagodas are not. I don't really know what do they mean actually haha but it's just nice to listen to their culture. They have very rich cultures. Cambodia has ALOT of public holidays! Much more than SG's but they don't celebrate christmas. So I'm quite surprised I see christmas decorations at the first level of their one and only newly opened casino Nagaworld.
Typical tourist shot wahaha
Tried playing jackpot for the first time in my life! First, influence after seeing many people play in the casino and second, our contractor went there just a week before told me he lost USD $90 over there! Anyhows I just slot in USD $10 and started playing the jackpot .. it's sucha boring game. In the end I lost $6 and left. No interest in gambling!
Nagaworld lights up beautifully in the night! They have these 3 spotlights which shines through the dark skies .. just like some olympic games! At first when I saw that when I was at the rooftop slaving, I quickly shouted and ask them if those lights are UFOs .. wahaha damn silly they laughed so hard at me
Continued the travelling to one of their shopping malls. Nothing much there, all I remembered was that they have a Swensens near the entrance!
The sunlight shine on me made me look like an angel muahaha! Ignore what I'm wearing .. it's ugly I know but no choice coz it's extremely hot and sunny at the rooftop. I don't ever want to turn darker so must wear full protection!
At the rooftop, this is for the helicopters to land!
Guess what came out in the night while we were up there? LIZARDS!!! Hugeee ones!
LOOK AT THAT THING ON THE RIGHT!! The left one is a normal resident lizard .. but the one on the right is called something else ( sorry I've forgotten the name ) It has spots all over and it's HUGE as compared to the normal lizards. Gag to the max!! Eeeuuuu.
Urber delicious DUCK TONGUES!! Wooohooo I love this! I know it sounds sick but this dish is extremely delish!
They feed me well. Ate alot when I was there .. they brought us to all the nice food places and I love eating soo much! Each meal includes beer. Since day one to the last day we have been drinking non-stop. I'm amazed at myself being able to wake up damn early the following day despite drinking so much haha
Ordered baby pigeons as well .. didn't quite like it. Only like that carrot being carved into a pigeon! We stayed at Almond Hotel. Here's my super comfy bed! I prefer tiny rooms .. it can't be too big coz I'll feel eerie at night when I sleep
The view from my Room 318. Love the skies there! Cheers to the team in white! ♥♥
Went to support the men play soccer! It's like a weekly activity for them and they need to book the fields at the outskirts of Phnom Penh. We had to drive pass Mekong River in order to get there and trust me, it's the most bumpy ride I've ever experienced! Furthermore we're in X5 yet it's still so bumpy. Practically like riding a horse on some rocks wahaha damn fun! I can't stop laughing coz my entire body was shaking
Mr Hun Sen's house. He has security cameras that can see 200 kilometres around the premises! You won't find houses in SG bigger anymore after you've seen those in Cambodia. They are ridiculously big.
They also have tuk-tuks!
Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, also known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). Even though we went there early in the morning, broad daylight with many tourists in place as well .. the feeling when I stepped inside was, different. I can't explain in words but I really feel the sadness when I'm there.
They have a total of four buildings over there, A, B, C and D.
We didn't explore every buildings .. I couldn't take it so we left without seeing everything.
The national anthem during the Khmer Rouge.
Inside the museum .. there are photos as evidence everywhere. Prison photos of the innocent citizens who were caught and detained there, being tortured etc. Even blood stains on the floors, staircase and walls are still visible despite after 30 over years. It's really disturbing. I can take gory movies definitely, but not real life scenarios.
Next, we drove to Choeung Ek, also known as The Killing Fields. Upon reaching there they asked if I'm bringing my camera or not since I brought it to S-21 .. my answer to them was no. Really no mood to take photos anymore at such places. So these four photos were taken with Muz's mobile. He also didn't take much ..
This is one of the biggest grave they managed to dig out 450 victims. The hole isn't THAT big but I guess it was really deep enough to contain 450 people last time. This entire piece of land is just massive holes which are the graves previously used to bury victims alive .. It's absolutely quiet over there and no flowers but there were many butterflies, those you can't find here. There's also this tree which the soldiers used to hit babies by holding their legs and swing them against the tree, so that the babies' head will drop off and they will simply throw into one of the massive graves.
On the left it's a grave of more than hundred victims without heads .. and some leftover bones on the right. There were still bones on the ground as you walk around. Just be very careful not to step onto them. You have to show respect to those who died there. They have signboards to remind people to be as quiet as possible whenever you're in the premises.
After visiting the above two places, we went for lunch and I totally have no appetite. Look at the horrible bruises I got on both of my legs after slaving for just one day!
Going back to where it all begin .. Cambodia.♥ This time round I visited their capital, Phnom Penh for 4 days, from 11 to 14 December 2009. Simply love this country. To many people it may sound like a third world country but seriously, it's not. The rich there is really rich. Most people drive big cars which we don't even carry here. The sad thing is when I go to certain places, there were so many beggars. Visited the legendary S-21 prison and killing fields doesn't make me feel good. Blood is still visible after 30 over years, plus the skulls and skeletons .. soo many but it's only some of them. On a happier note, they brought me to the biggest club "The Rock", no doubt it's fun and I like it. I would love to go back here again. :)

| Condom Chocolate! Old school sugar-coated biscuits mom bought! The colorful toppings are actually sugar!
My colleague went Taipei recently and bought back this condom chocolate. When he passed to me, I was too busy to even notice until he forced me to see carefully what is that actually. The packaging seriously look like a condom! Even the box itself. Check out the slogan "Choco is better than sex" wahaha. By the way, the condom taste like dark chocolate though. The picture doesn't do justice to how real-life this looks like!
My aunt's oreo cheesecake!
She's selling in two sizes: 7 inch for $30 and 9 inch for $45 so I bought two 7 inch cakes for my family and office. All of them said it taste really good! Although the look is just so-so .. not very appealing but the taste is awesome. You see there are layers of orea within the cheesecake. Sometimes if the cheese smell is too strong, it makes you nausea easily
Levi's is having promotion, give your unwanted jeans and get $50 off a new pair of Levi's. I might get more tee hee coz the lady told me there are people who gave like 5 jeans but they only bought 2. So the remaining 3 jeans can be used to cover mine! By the way, this is the FIRST piece of Levi's I have in my wardrobe! If you know me well enough, I hardly wear jeans ..
I pasted 6 mozzie patches on my bed frame and dad scolded me for wasting it :(
Anyway did you see the difference in the last mozzie patch? It's in a smiley! So cute right hahaha I was laughing alone when I opened up and saw 12 smileys staring at me! Just realized I've been mis-pronoucing mozzie patch as PAD till L corrected me.
Gift hunting with L last Saturday and finally, we got this!
The salesman told us this year's christmas monument is the prettiest of all ! Was trying my best to steal it home instead of passing the entire thing to P but failed. Ugh.
Eeeuu at the mustard color. Such colors should never exist! But the coin purse is no doubt, cute!
Bought our materials at Art Friend, including this full of animals' prints wallpaper wahaha. Damn messy because we used this as the background and it's kinda hard to see our faces in the photos This is the back .. extra photos we developed at FEP so pasted them here Two maids at last completed their task!
We ordered KFC delivery while making the card but the chicken taste horrible. Don't have the KFC smell .. it's almost tasteless, even L's younger brother agreed with us. Not sure why but these few days both of us kept eating weird food. During the day we went for gift hunting, last stop was at ION and we ordered the mee rubus set meal which comes with a cup of barley. But the barley taste like towel water!! Geez now think back I can't imagine I drank till 3/4 of the glass .. guess I was too thirsty from shopping the whole day haha. Now I can understand why human beings are willing to drink urine when they're about to die of thirst. I still have many backlog entries to update how! Will be back in town next week :)
